About this listen
For fans of Bridget Jones and The Princess Diaries comes a laugh-out-loud, feel-good comedy with a sizzling side of romance....
Ultra-private, ridiculously handsome Crown Prince Arthur has always gotten by on his charm. But that won't be enough now that the Royal Family is about to be ousted from power once and for all. When Prince Arthur has to rely on the one woman in the kingdom who hates him most, he must learn that earning the love of a nation means first risking his heart.
Twenty-eight-year-old Tessa Sharpe, a.k.a. The Royal Watchdog, hates everything about Prince Arthur. As far as she's concerned, he's an arrogant, lazy leech on the kingdom of Avonia. When he shocks the nation by giving her the keys to the castle, Tessa has no choice but to accept and move in for two months. It's lust at first sight, but there's no way she can give in to her feelings - not if she wants to have a career or a shred of pride left when her time at the palace ends....
Can two natural enemies find their forever in each other's arms, or will they ruin each other to save themselves?
Contains mature themes.

Lighthearted
Fun listen, made me chuckle throughout. Enjoyed the narrators, the upper crust overplaying the part and poking fun at themselves.

Really enjoyed this book
Can’t believe how much I enjoyed this book breezed through it on a Saturday. On another note I hate that you have to write a minimum of 15 words so i write ;)

Entertaining
A good rom com listen. It made me laugh and was enjoyable to listen to. The voices didn't quite match the image I had, but that is a personal thing.

PRI-MEAN-ISTER!!!! WHAT?
You would think a narrator would pronounce words correctly as that is their job. Who calls a Priminister 'Pri-mean-is-ter' ??? Its just bizarre especially when talking in a british accent. I realky dislike alk the amerucan terms, for instance 'sidewalk' when we say pavement. If it was an american voice that wouldnt bother me.
Tessa was tough and i liked that she wouldnt get pushed around. The royal gran was fiesty and funny but the prince was a wet blanket and the king was a nasty piece of work.
The book was funny in places but i am relieved that this listen was free in the plus catalogue as i would not buy it or recommend it.
