I've been seeing a lot of advertisements for both cold plunge and sauna use for health. I had a ton of questions but after listening to this book I have to say I'm all IN! I am excited to give this therapy a shot to help reduce inflammation and improve my overall health. I have always wanted to do a cold plunge!!
I was intrigued when I came across this book. I have always wanted to do a cold/polar plunge but I've never taken the leap. Building one myself has never crossed my mind until now. The DIY instructions to build one yourself were clear and straightforward, The author did not miss any details, and made it super simple to follow. I love the chapters that highlighted the health and physical benefits of doing this experience. I never knew how important this could be for your holistic well-being. Strong reco buying this audiobook if you are remotely interested in doing either a sauna or polar plunge.

A World of Benefits from Sauna Usage
I really enjoyed listening to The Sauna and cold Plunge Experience by Dan Banachowski. A few years ago, I belonged to a gym that had an indoor pool and a sauna and I absolutely loved swimming in the pool and then relaxing in the sauna. I would drive 20 minutes each way just for this reason. I really enjoyed Chapter 2 which discussed the health benefits of sauna therapy. I was amazed by the shocking statistic that using a sauna 4 to 7 times a week makes you 63% less likely to die as a result of health problems. In terms of physical health, I learned regularly using a sauna can improve your cardiovascular health and lower your risk of heart disease by improving your blood flow to the heart and reduces high blood pressure from hypertension. It improves your mental health as well. It improves your mood and depression. It can cause euphoria and release endorphins which increases your happiness. It also controls cortisol which reduces stress and anxiety. I highly recommend this audiobook!

Loving the benifits of hot and cold therapy!
This book explains the beifits of saunas, cold plunges and contrast therapy brilliantly. It includes everything you need to know about both, including steps for building your own sauna at home and scientific backing for the benefits of such practices.
I particularly like that the book provides a list of actual saunas and cold plunges on the market, with pros and cons of each to help make a decision on which one to purchase.
I've actually used saunas and cold plunges before because of how they make me feel, but I didn't realise the full health benefits until now. A great book that I would thoroughly recommend!

Amazing

What a great audiobook to walk you through creating your own Sauna and Cold Plunge. I would recommend listening to the information in this book if you are considering this new trend that has proven to benefit multiple variations of health and wellness. If you are just interested in the process and learning if this method of Therapy is for you, then I highly recommend listening.

Love this book! The utilization of saunas and cold plunges for health benefits is such a hot topic right now. This book digs into the why behind the what. Great descriptions of the health benefits of saunas and cold plunges. Next it gives great practical step by step guides on building your own without costing a fortune. My fav part was the celebrity nods. Highly recommend for anyone to jump right in!
