About this listen
The Secret of Love is a compilation of amazing stories from couples whose relationships improved or completely turned around just by being pointed within, toward their true nature. These couples began to see how they were contributing to their problems from insights gained as they were learning. They saw how they could work with the force of nature, rather than against it.
The inspiration for the book came from “Thought and Marriage” by the late Sydney Banks, the person who uncovered the Three Principles that create everyone’s experience of life, including the invisible power and the common denominator behind all relationships.
©2018 Lori Carpenos and Christine Heath (P)2020 Dragon Hill PublishingI feel like I have drastically improved relationships since I’ve been reading this book, not through work, but by being willing to disengage while I feel angry and re-engage when I’m feeling better.
By not being as reactive I no longer escalate situations that would have led to complete breaches in the past. I’m also more aware that I can’t get anyone to love me, so I’m no longer trying to earn it.
Overall, whenever I feel stressed or depressed I go back to this book as a tool to help me reconnect to my inner self. It’s been invaluable to me. Especially all the first person transformational stories.
I cannot rate this book highly enough!
