Poetic, precise, gripping and heartbreaking

The language is beautiful and so perfectly captures the nuance of the relationships and feelings of guilt and uncertainty. The reader is so effortlessly steered from one perspective to another and I for one was utterly unprepared for the heartbreaking ending.

One of the all time greats

Beautiful narration takes you through one of the all time classics. a regular listen especially on cold dark winter nights
