Wow and wow!!! Haywood is incredible!!! By far the best author I have ever read/listened to and James Jameson the narrator! Grief he should have an award or 5 for his expertise!!

These stories just get better and better. When you start thinking that it's gonna get samey, RR Haywood adds a new twist to keep you hooked. The narration is flawless and the voices brilliant for each character. Cannot rate these enough. Only criticism is that he can't write them quick enough

Beyond fab

My favourite of the series so far.
Laugh out loud jokes and gripping stories.
The best thing is that a lot of tension from the various running plots is released as they are played out with clever “believable” details.

Love it

Jackpot!

Really good book. Ties a few bits together nicely and read perfectly as always. Now comes the wait for more. Haha

This one will make you say HOLY 💩 out loud!

I'm onto my third round of listening to it (just this one, its at least 20 times for each other book) and my best "hell yes" was for lilly and Mary, who knew! the end will come to this collection, but I hope not for several years, it just gets better and better , it has the best characters you get so involved with each of them. just a warning, if like me, you become totally invested in these fictional lives and you laugh you cry you get angry and you hope!

if you want every emotion going, this book series is for you

The first part of the book felt like a protracted whinge about the state of the world currently (i.e. before the outbreak) interspersed with a lot of bickering between the characters. I nearly stopped at that point, I can get all of that directly from my 57 year old brother.

The second part helped make some sense of it and sets the scene for a new direction for the series. It acknowledges, and kinda makes a feature of, the character similarities between the groups which, again, sets us up for new paths.

A book of two halves

You don't just listen, you're pulled in to the story. It's like your there and you feel the emotions of every character. Haywood gets better and better.

Another resounding success.
