About this listen

Doctor John Dee and Margaretta, assisted by his pupil Christopher, are charged with unraveling the mystery. But then there is a kidnapping, a ransom threat and more bodies appear. Amongst secrets and rumors, the scandal of the Seymour Affair threatens to resurface. Elizabeth's road to the throne could be ruined and with that comes the fall of the Tudor Dynasty.

As with The Conjuror’s Apprentice G J Williams has written a marvellous novel.
Sometimes the second book in a series is disappointing but not here, The Wolf’s Shadow is absolutely the equal of its predecessor and I can’t wait for the next book.
Ms Williams writes so well that you feel you’re there in Tudor England, seeing people and places, smelling them too. Very vivid descriptions and a thoroughly immersive tale.

Another wonderful instalment
