I always enjoy listening/reading stories from Sir David Jason. He has led a very full and interesting life and I have learned a couple of new details about him in this book that I didn’t previously know. I especially enjoyed him narrating as his tone is very upbeat.

This is an enjoyable, amusing tale that relates Jason's journey as a jobbing actor and also gives insights into how many memorable comedies were crafted. Sorry ehrn it ended - I'll definitely get his other book now!

Not that I own slippers but if I did I would imagine the experience of wearing them to be similar to this audio book.
It has a warmth and familiarity that I really enjoyed. Littered with numerous showbiz tales and delivered with such a level of humour and honesty that only David Jason can deliver.
There are insights into some of the bog moments and stories from Only Fools and fans of the show will love that.
David talks with passion and enthusiasm about all his life experiences and it is a joy to listen.
If you want to escape the hubbub of life for a few hours and you have ever seen anything with David Jason in it (of course you have!) you will love this!

This book has helped me at a most difficult time in my life.....undergoing chemotherapy. It took me away whilst sitting for hours on end as the treatment took place.
Thank you, thank you.
It is funny, thought provoking, relates to times I remember back in the 60's and 70's. It helped me escape my current situation in a gentle and relaxing way.
