When 16-year-old Jess arrives on foster carer Maggie Hartley's doorstep with her newborn son, Jimmy, she has nowhere else to go. I’m just addicted to maggies stories and have now read four, really heartwarming feel good with sad moments too thoroughly enjoyed them all and plan to read more

I loved this book and finished it in 2 days, feeling a sense of loss afterwards because I enjoyed it so much and the story had ended. Maggie writes very well, describing the highs and lows of fostering . The narrator was excellent also. I listened to 3 of Maggie's books in 6 days and loved them all. Please write some more, Maggie!
