from the writing, the storyline, the characters to the narrator's performances it was all fantastic. this is a new author to me and I'm very impressed. I really enjoyed the book and I'm going straight into the next one in the series. I highly recommend the book.

This was phenomenally brought to life by Charlotte and Gabriel, it’s been a while since I’ve read When She Unravels and it was such a thrilling experience noticing all the things that I hadn’t noticed when I first read about Valentina and Damiano! And, without a doubt, Damiano remains the funniest mafia don!!

Not bad is the best I can say about this book. The lead female was a bit of a drip and a bit unlikable. I personally couldn’t see where the
Love developed and found the emotional connection a bit unbelievable. However it was a good storyline and great narration. The female narrator was particularly good and probably has one of the loveliest voices I have ever listened to. Wouldn’t rush to listen to or read it again and would probably be pushed to tell you what it was about by next week but I also wouldn’t say not to bother. Decent enough for passing some time.

Oh I really wanted to love this book, but I didn’t. On paper it has everything you think you need for and Dark Mafia Romance but something is missing. The female lead started off so good, but once she settles into the second part of the book she gets a bit wet or naive. I nearly gave up but I’d paid for this book and I refused to give in. I finished it and it was typically as expected. Will I read the second book, yes, but only if it becomes a free down load!!!😩😩😩

How unlucky you have to be to ended up in the same place as “the enemy”? hahaha. This story was funny and different, it was entertaining, kept you guessing what was going on. Loved the sneak peeks from the others characters, its going to be an interesting journey this series. The only thing missing was more romance, I get the feeling that lust reigns more than any other feeling between them. But good story anyway.
