Loved it

Such a great book the story was fantastic a mix of witty banter and emotional scenes . Caleb was so funny where Whit was stern and hard to like but when you know what he’s been through you’ll understand why he’s like that .

You’ll laugh, cry, and love it!

This was my first contact with Cora Roses’s writing and a very pleasing experience.

I’ve been reading MM for a while and can’t say the roommate trope does much for me. However, I didn’t even need to finish the first chapter to fall in love with Caleb. Can’t say I’ve ever read such a successful rendition of truly filterless character until now. It didn’t hurt that he is such a sweetheart either. Also really enjoyed how well the author wrote the supporting characters. Some of them simply beg for a story of their own.

I adore books that can make me laugh myself silly and still feel deeply for the characters. Not meaning to spoil anyone’s experience, I’ll just say that the last few chapters made me incapable of giving any less than a five star rating.

Don’t hesitate to listen to/read it if you’re looking for a funny, heartwarming and mildly angsty romance. You’ll laugh, cry, and love it!

Have to say I found the narration a bit imbalanced, since the performance differs quite a lot between narrators.
Being more of a performer than a narrator, Alexander Cendese brings the story out of the page and almost makes you forget he is reading. Liam DiCosimo, on the other hand, is more in the "read along" category... so, there's that.

One of my favourite audiobooks of all time

I love everything about this story- have listened to it countless times. Caleb is one of the most epic MC’s of all time and Alexander Cendese is legendary as ever! I love is palpable and it’s too funny along with amazing support characters. A must listen

This book was superb. It’s mm romance at its best. It was funny, captivating, angsty, full of love and longing and delicious spice and the HEA was perfect. The narration in this book was brilliant and brought the adorable characters to life.

Great story

Loved the character development. The spice factor from the get go was simple amazing, felt like just a natural progression of the story. Loved to see how they grew especially with the epilogue

Unexpected

This is by far my favourite MM romance. It’s funny and sweet and emotional. I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. It’s well worth a credit. The narration is perfect.

Love this one

It’s so well written, performed by two brilliant guys. Caught my attention and i ended up listening in one go because I felt like I knew everyone. It’s so great when words transports us into the story.

Not Great

I didn't enjoy this. Little to no plot at all and the entire premise is just unrealistic from the start. It definitely reads as if it's written by a woman who simply likes gay erotica rather than by a gay man or even just a man. Not a good gay novel.

Oh gawd the narration…..

There are so few narrators that can pull off this type of story. Sadly this guy just didn’t do it for me - cringe. Great story, could have been a great audio - but wasn’t.
