Summary

The elf queen rises. Backed by her magic, an army sweeps across the land like a plague. Can anything sate her unquenchable thirst for conquest?

Through sacrifice, the druids have raised a new queen and goddess. An army marches, made of elves, druids, animal familiars, and ensorcelled humans. Wizards are crushed, soldiers destroyed, and cities captured as the elf queen storms across the land.

Unless the elf queen is defeated, she will see all humans enslaved, the wizard race exterminated, and her rule extended across the Eight Wizardoms.

Intent on unraveling the schemes affecting the wizardoms, Jace and Narine go undercover, seeking information within the nest of an evil mastermind. What secrets await? What will happen if they are caught?

Curse of the Elf Queen continues the Fall of Wizardoms epic, raising the stakes and exposing secrets that will leave you wanting for more.

Narrated by the ultra-talented Travis Baldree.

An enthralling, fast-paced, thumping good read!

Curse of the Elf Queen - the third instalment of Kohanek's new series, Fall of Wizardoms - offers a stellar continuation to an absolutely amazing tale!

After the fall of the old gods, and the subsequent removal of the Wizard Lords, new troubles are stirring in the eight Wizardoms. The order of Sol is scheming, new self-proclaimed gods rise, and a war between humans and elves is brewing. Indeed, the merged elf-druid-queen-god Koriella is one wicked ruler, commanding her forces with an iron fist, and she is set on destroying the Wizardoms and the humans' ability to wield magic.

Trapped in the chaos of the many unleashed evils, our heroes continue their quests - Jace and Narine go undercover in the Order of Sol, whereas Blythe, Brogan, Crusser, Harley, and the rest attempt to thwart the onslaught of the new Elf Queen.

Curse of the Elf Queen is an enthralling, fast-paced, thumping good read. Featuring several POVs, the book allows its readers to follow along on an intricate yet dangerous ride, filled from cover to cover with battles, magic, espionage, love, and friendship. The characters are fabulously written, and you find yourself rooting for every single one of them. They are deep and wonderfully fleshed-out, even those we come to despise!

And as to the ending, let me just say: D*mn you, Kohanek! Grab your tissues, people, because this a heart-wrencher! I won't spoil it, of course, but consider yourself warned!

As a side note: I listened to this as an audiobook, and I must comment on Travis Baldree and his fabulous performance as a voice actor. I cannot give him enough credit for his skill in adding tension, emotion, and different voices for every single character. I loved every minute of listening!! Hell, at this point, I'd be happy to listen to torque settings in a Haynes manual if he narrated it. I have full confidence in his ability to keep me immersed to the point of neglecting my kids.

Anyway, that's it. Just read it! Or better yet - listen to this badboy as an audiobook! Peace out!
