We made it to book 7 of 8 in the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas. The ever controversial Tower of Dawn is, according to many, supposed to be tandem read with Empire of Storms because the events are happening at the same time. Tower of Dawn is an entire book of just the side quest that Chaol and Nesryn go on while the rest of the characters are doing other stuff in Empire of Storms. We didn’t tandem read and it was not a problem. Don't let anyone bully you into doing that for Pete's sake.
