  • Summary

  • The Wine Makers Show brings you all the latest news about wine. From wine merchants and producers to owners, traders, and vintners, the world of wine will hold no secrets for you! In the Wine Makers Show, all your wine-related questions will be answered. From how to make wine to how to sell it, numerous industry professionals will address your queries. The world of wine is incredible. I dove in and faced a reality: those who understand wine enjoy it much more than those who don’t. Recognizing this, I took my microphone and my courage and began interviewing the leading figures in the industry. Thus, through a series of encounters, I invite you to join me as we learn about wine and delve deeply into the lives of those who create it. The Episodes The podcast features two types of episodes: interviews and Club episodes. The interviews highlight prominent personalities in the wine world in a more relaxed format. The aim is to take the time to converse with my guest and truly understand their journey. The Club episodes are less frequent and focus on exploring specific concepts related to wine. Who Am I? My name is Antoine, and I’ve been passionate about wine for several years. Initially, I knew nothing about it. So, I decided to explore the wine world from within, primarily through this podcast and the Vin sur Vin blog. In my professional life, I’m an entrepreneur in the automotive industry, but I always make time to discover wonderful bottles. What Can You Expect? I’m putting a lot of energy into developing this wine podcast. The goal is simple: to continually learn more about this amazing world. Sharing is key in the wine community, and I aim to be the messenger for those who make wine. Who Are the Guests on the Wine Makers Show? The Wine Makers Show welcomes all types of guests: sommeliers, oenologists, winemakers, owners, traders, merchants, influencers, entrepreneurs, and more. The only criterion is their impact on the wine world. Therefore, well-known figures mingle with lesser-known individuals who have equally significant influence. Regardless, I always enjoy discovering these remarkable journeys and look forward to sharing my discussions with my guests. Want to be on the Wine Makers Show or get in touch with me? • #1 Pascaline Lepeltier - France's best sommelier
    Oct 3 2024

Today, we're joined by Pascaline Lepeltier, a powerhouse in the wine world and one of only seven women to hold the prestigious Master Sommelier title in the United States. As the first woman to win the Best Sommelier of France competition and the managing partner at Racines NY, Pascaline has established herself as a leading voice in the industry.

Born in the Loire Valley, her journey from philosophy student to acclaimed sommelier is a testament to her passion and expertise. Beyond her role as a sommelier, Pascaline is an educator and advocate for sustainable viticulture, recently authoring "The Unexpected Scent of Apples" about natural cider-making.

Join us as we explore Pascaline's philosophy on wine, her experiences in a traditionally male-dominated field, and her vision for the future of the industry. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or simply curious, this conversation promises to be as enriching as it is inspiring.
