  • 50 | Hangry Children? Hangry Mum? Stop Making These Mistakes With Guest Adi St George
    Jul 9 2024

'Hanger' is a term well known in our household. As a working mum, it can be hard to remember to feed myself the right foods let alone the children!

When we don't feed our bodies properly, we experience a physiological shift that means that we cannot think clearly and thus, we do not behave the way that we want to.

This conversation with nutritionist and biokinesiologist Adi St George outlines 3 mistakes we make when it comes to how we feed our bodies. These mistakes can lead to challenges in how we think and behave, not only for ourselves but also for our children. When we are fed correctly, we have so much more capacity to manage the day, whatever age we are!

  • 49 | 3 Ways to Bust School Holiday Anxiety
    Jul 2 2024

I know that the mid year school holidays can cause huge stress and anxiety. I have felt it myself and I have heard numerous mums talking about it in various places. So if you have felt a bit of dread about this period, you are not alone!

  • 48 | 3 Things Keeping You From Work Life Balance
    Jun 25 2024

Achieving work life balance is something that I think many of us are trying to do all the time. I am interested by what causes us to be out of balance and also in what we can do to get back there.

Here are three things we can stop doing so that we are able to achieve a closer state of balance. By giving these three things up, we will find that there is more time, we are able to focus better and we find that we can get more done and be more present where we need to be.

  • 47 | 5 Questions to Shift Your Mindset as a Working Mom
    Jun 18 2024

This episode is inspired by 5 questions I got from Marie Forleo, the author of a book called ‘Everything is Figureoutable’.

I loved these questions and thought that as working mums, they can be so useful to help us be curious about where we are unsatisfied or stuck and where we want to make changes.

When we know what is causing us discomfort in the way that we are operating, we can find a way to move towards a calm mindset, one that allows us to be patient, to make choices that create more time, and to build balance in our lives.

Journal around these 5 questions either all in one go or one at a time and see what comes up for you and what changes you could make that could create a place of peace and ease for you.

  • 46.1 | Find More Time Friday - A Formula for More Time
    Jun 14 2024

More time is something that we, as working moms, long for. And more specifically more me-time, time to slow down, breathe and perhaps do something for ourselves.

I believe that this time comes from doing something in the moments when we feel like we have no time. And this formula offers a reminder for what you can do in the moment to help you have more time.
