The angels came two hundred years ago with a mission to wipe out everything the pagan gods created. The humans came together to form the Coalition to hunt us for them. Maybe they were imaginary, but when things got bad, the boogeyman and an imp always came to my aid. If I needed to run, a beautiful white stag would appear at my window to let me know to get out of there. I’ve touched the stag. I know he’s real.

I was supposed to be going to Harvard on a full ride. I’ve always been excellent at chemistry. Turns out my knack for chemicals was because my mum is a witch and a potions master. Apparently, now I’m going to Fortuna Conservatory instead, something about being the princess of Hell. Something big is happening. My birth wouldn’t have been foretold if it wasn’t. I need to unlock all of my gifts as half angel half witch because whatever is going on, I’ve only scratched the surface.

Hades kidnapped me. Yeah, that Hades. Greek mythology is real, and I’m learning the gods are real dicks. I’m tasked with caring for the monsters in the Underworld. Oh, yeah, Demeter is pissed about the whole Persephone thing. She’s kidnapped her daughter and making the monsters fight for sport. Persephone is quite happy in the Underworld according to Hades pet dog...who has three heads and is kind of a goof. I’ve met a Kraken, a minotaur, a phoenix, and a black widow spider. I’ve also met Hephaestus, the God of the Forge, who has been abused by his family.

My clients at my vet clinic have always called me an animal whisperer. I’ve never questioned it. Until I started hearing monsters, too. A man came in right at closing with a sick dog. The dog told me why he was sick, and I was able to treat him. I had no idea his owner would kidnap me. I had no idea his owner had an entire dungeon of monsters he wanted me to treat. I’ve met a minotaur, a mysterious kraken, a phoenix, and this really massive spider. I can hear them, too. If monsters are real and I can talk to them, then what am I?

I’ve been running from my duties as the heir to the supe kingdom to marry Cade, my intended, and create more hybrid children for centuries. I’ve been playing soldier, spy, assassin, or whatever takes me close to the action instead. My parents and my people think I just need time to sow my royal oats, but I love this too much to give it up.

I’ve made allies in prison. I know the truth about my fire dragon Fergus. All of us have been wronged in whatever this plot was that they’ve framed me for. I haven’t forgiven Rathmore for what he did to Roman. My kill list is growing, but luckily, I’ve made friends with a few psychos in prison. I survived my first year at Fortuna Academy. Lucifer met my mates, and it wasn’t totally mortifying. I met Azriel’s mom, and she’s not that bad. We’re all back at school, and we have a mission: find that prophecy and figure out who tried to poison Keane. Everyone in our group has a least favorite hellhound they suspect of doing the deed, but really, we have nothing. That is, until Lilith comes through with information from school records. Both hellhounds that have been harassing me have secrets, but this one ties back to Keane and the Lilim.

My familiar brings us word. Another one of my mates has their life on the line with this deadly game with the Hellhounds and the mysterious Prince of Hell. They don’t seem to know Lilith is on our side. We have our secrets too. The game strikes a little too close to home and I’m in a fighting mood. It’s time to fight back. I have this idea I can play the Hellhounds like they’ve been trying to play me. My little game goes a little too far as my angel gifts start appearing when I’m not trying to call them.

Sorry, not sorry, you’d say it too if you’d ever been to Neverland. I know the big story is that Wendy Darling is the first girl to end up on Neverland because girls are too smart to fall out of their prams. I’m living proof that’s a lie. Wendy was just the first time Peter actually asked permission before he took a girl to Neverland to be his mother. I guess he learned his lesson from me. He kidnapped me from my bed while I was sleeping and just expected me to be his mother. I’d rather be a lost boy than his mother. Peter eventually gave up on me.

I found out why I can talk to animals and monsters. I met my father, and I wasn’t quite expecting his answers. But he does command several legions of demons, and he’s working on getting more to help us overthrow Demeter. We’re going to need all the help we can get because I don’t have enough of Hephaestus’ powder to free every single monster in the pits from being trapped in their monster form by those collars.

I know why no one said anything when Zeus came to the underworld. I know there’s a plan to get Hephaestus back. There’s also a lot I don’t know that I need to learn fast. I have this mysterious demonic form from my father that I need to learn to access. Hephaestus made all these weapons capable of taking down Olympians if they came, but I don’t know how to use them. I’m not going to get lucky again like I did with Demeter. I have to learn all this, and if I don't, I’ll be grounded in my room when everyone tries to rescue my God.

The migrations to Ragnis Crystal have started. The secrets of the bond animals and the Waljan teenager’s gifts have been revealed. An ancient race of aliens have made themselves known and are trying to guide the Waljans in their journey. Painful changes to all of their DNA must be endured to strip away what was always meant to be.
