This commitment to self-care deepened in 2020, following a cascade of losses: losing her home in a California wildfire, her career and financial stability to COVID-19, and the heart-breaking dissolution of her long-term marriage. During this period, she was also diagnosed with systemic mold illness, affecting multiple organ systems and putting additional strain on her physical, mental, emotional, and financial health. With so many aspects of her life simultaneously challenged, Lorilee's ability to conduct personal triage through self-assessment allowed her to adapt strategically. She focused on the most impactful areas for positive change, quickly stacking wins and building a mindset of resilience and positivity. This journey of transformation is at the heart of her work. Lorilee finds immeasurable joy in uplifting others and helping them uncover meaning, passion, and purpose. She invites you to join her in embracing the simple pleasures and profound lessons that each day offers through radical acts of self-care. Beyond her writing, Lorilee thrives in the vibrant world of fashion design, invests in real estate as both a landlord and private money lender, and leads several women-focused investment groups. She also enjoys being of service through hands-on energy work in yoga classes and has a strong personal practice as well. Grateful for the gift of life, Lorilee loves to move her body through dance, hiking, biking, yoga, and skating. She is always ready to say yes to spontaneous adventures and deep belly laughs, celebrating the sheer joy of being alive.
