About this listen
In every industry, there are companies that take off. They effortlessly hire talented people, attract loyal customers, create cool products and make lots of money. These companies seem to stand out and scale up quickly with support from investors, partners and the media. Sadly, most companies don't perform this way. Most entrepreneurs aren't building anything of value.
They work hard, make sacrifices, struggle, dream, plan and strive, but in the end, it doesn't pay off. This audiobook sets out a method for building a business that becomes a valuable asset. It focuses you on transforming your organisation into something scalable, digital, fun and capable of making an impact. It's time to, stand out, scale up and build a business that has a life of its own. Start now by listening to this audiobook.

Nuggets of gold
This book is definitely worth considering if you’re working for yourself, or have a small team looking into upscale. I am definitely in the wilderness; as a result, much of the book is not yet applicable for my current situation but that doesn’t mean it’s not relevant.

Opens our view of what’s possible
Hearing Daniels’ view of successful businesses and his approach to building from the ground up is eye opening.
I’ve really enjoyed listening to this audio book and am likely to buy the paperback copy as I see the value in the asset building he described.
My only ask for his future
publications would be to give more focus and emphasis to those lifestyle businesses he mentions.
As a larger proportion of business owners never reach the stratospheric heights of the world leaders and as a small lifestyle business owner myself I’d appreciate hearing case studies of business transformations for people like myself. Hardworking people, needing the benefit of guidance and focus but at a scale that feels a stretch-but also feels achievable.
We can build on our successes and aspire to greater things as we grow but having an internal visual formed by relatable examples is for me a vital link to help build my knowledge of the various links in the chain that will move me forward - at my current level and beyond.
I’ve enjoyed this book and it’s definitely stretched my thinking.
Hopefully the paperback will help to clarify some of the larger concepts so I can continue to grow and develop

Straight forward and yet ignored by many
Worth a read. An evolution of previous books by the same author. I listened on Audible. Probably need the physical copy too!
