Action packed story, kept me entertained with all the twist and turns in the story

The story is really interesting and pretty gripping, I enjoyed it. Good characters arcs too. The performance of Kate was as good as it could be and I can’t fault it, however, I do feel that they needed more narrators. One narrator for all those characters just doesn’t suffice and subtracts from the story. This book needed at least one male and female narrator to portray different characters. Other than that I would highly recommend a listen.

I was really impressed with how good this story is. I’ve listened to this book a few times now and have ended up buying the rest of the series. I actually laughed aloud a few times while listening to this book which is just as much the performer’s skill as the author’s.

This book went by pretty quickly, despite its length. The bargain was very good and I'll be looking out for sole other books by the same reader.

I was looking for a filler book between credits. Gave this a whirl and have been immersed in the story since chapter 1. Now planning on buying the final three books as it's so good.

As others have said,if you like Firefly, Starwars, Guardians Of The Galaxy - you will like this.

A compelling story, great characters and super, fast paced action.

the narration took a little getting used to, especially for secondary characters. But I soon stopped noticing this and actually enjoyed their voices by the end of book 1.

loved the narration, characterisation was spot on in my opinion. story was full of wonderful whit and sarcasm. solid story line. I thought it filled in backstory very well as it progressed through the series.

Enjoyed it - Star Wars inspiration is a bit much, but the story is amusing and even exciting at times.

The narrator needs a bit more agility in her voice-acting, but passable without too many cringeworthy moments.

Well worth the time spent listening, and wouldn’t even have doubted giving a credit for the omnibus of the first three books if it hadn’t been free.
