Outstanding
This is quite a departure from the Iron Druid, and not in a bad way. I really liked the druid collection, but this story is even better, and for myself, quite original too.
Supported by quite magnificent narration (even enough to forgive the singing of Mr Daniels).

Great book, dreadful narration, unlistenable.
This book is a singular lesson in the importance of the narrator. Kevin Hearne's books are a delight, ruined by Luke Daniels narration. His syntax and rhythm are uncomfortable, and many of his accents grate, Xe Sands narration is excellent. It is a shame that Christopher Ragland wasn't the narrator, his work on the Iron Druid Chronicles was vastly superior to Mr Daniels efforts, albeit only available in some territories.

Disappointed
Like many others, I loved the Iron Druid series, its characters were engaging and the story was a brilliant rollercoaster of emotions.
Plague of Giants has left me bamboozled. I can’t quite work out if it’s just down to the dreadful narration or it’s something deeper. I’m on chapter 20 of 189 and seriously wondering if I can face any more.
I can’t differentiate the characters for either narrator, the male narrator seems to be attempting an Irish accent (?), bit if he is, it’s on a par with Dick van Dyke doing cockney, no wait, that’s a disservice to Dick van Dyke, at least I could make out what words Dick was using.
The female narrator is impenetrable. Monotonous, dreary, and every character the same. And again, I’m pretty good at English, I am English, but I can’t work out what she’s saying.
I think I’m going to try this on Kindle, and give Kevin the benefit of the doubt.

Giants galore..and much, much more?
Great story from.beginning to end and it's a great deal.at this price.
Only one bugbear.....the voice.aetists just didn't have a great range and made.many if the characters just sound the same; real shame! One.of whom should not be allowed to sing ever; practically tone-deaf and unable to hold a beat - sorry mate

Worth listening to.
I have always really enjoyed Kevin Hearne's books and this one is no exception. A Plague of Giants has a complex set of parallel narratives but the way they are presented makes it easy to keep track and stay engaged. The only down side to this audio book is Luke Daniels' attempts at various accents. These are confused and confusing to say the least. Luke is a good narrator but just does not have a talent for accents and should keep it simple rather than attempting the Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Scandinavian, Indian mash up that we are presented with here.

Ingenious
A wonderfully ingenious way to tell a story. Immersive characters Andy spellbinding narrators lead you through an enchanting tale. Roll on book 2.

interesting but odd pacing
I found this to be an interesting read and enjoyable but at times the pacing of the story is tiring. On the whole though I have enjoyed reading it.

5 stars regardless
havin' read/listened to Kevin's previous work I was really lookin' fwd to this,unfortunately for whatever reason I couldn't focus properly on the plagues peoples,lands etc so will listen again at some stage,performance by Luke and Xe was second to none and think it deserves 5 stars regardless.

Fantastic
One of the best stories I have enjoyed for a long time. Very clever use of the Bard to effectively tell many short stories linked by a central narrative. Narration was great to with easily identifiable voices.
