About this listen
Perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas and Holly Black, this enemies-to-lovers adventure romance should come with a book hangover warning.
All magic has a price.
Haven survived the Devourers, but she isn’t any closer to breaking the curse. Meanwhile, her forbidden magic rages brighter and more dangerous every day. To control her powers and stand a chance against the Shade Queen, Haven made a bargain with two enemy immortals. Now, her waking hours are spent fighting alongside the Sun Lord, but her dreams belong to the Shade Lord.
Only, the closer she ventures into the wicked Shadow Kingdom, the more her magic shows itself and the more she struggles with whom to trust. The golden but wounded Sun Lord or the darkly charismatic Shade Lord. Both are off-limits. And both have the ability to save her or destroy her.
With the Shade Queen closing in and Bell’s time nearly up, Haven will sacrifice everything to break the curse, but will it be enough to stop the mortal realm from falling into darkness forever?
Welcome to the Kingdom of Runes where immortals and humans clash, light and dark magic reign, and mythical creatures lurk in the shadows.
If you like fierce heroines, enemies-to-lovers romance, wild plot twists, and endearing characters that stay with you long after you reach the end, you need to discover the book fans are calling dark fantasy at its best. Just make sure to clear out some space on your calendar first!

THIS BOOK IS ON FIRE!!!
This is the second book in the Kingdom of Runes series. It starts right where book one ended. Haven is still on her mission to rescue Bell. Her connection between herself, the Shade Lord and the Sun Lord are getting interesting. Vanessa Moyen did an amazing job, as always. CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!

Can’t wait for more
Amazing and couldn’t put down! I’m utterly enthralled with this series. This is book 2 in the Kingdom of Runes series by Audrey Grey. You definitely need to read book 1 to understand and enjoy as much as I did. Again I listened to the audible version beautifully narrated by Vanessa Moyen.
This picks up right where we left off in book 2. Haven and the Sun Lords friends are on a mission to break the curse and save Havens best friend Bell. They now know the items they need in order to break it and they are not going to be easy to get. Each item takes them into more danger than the last and you will be on the edge of your seat.
Thankfully Archeron is so much kinder in this book but who doesn’t love an enemies to lovers story. In saying that, I’m still holding out hope he will be a passing fancy on Havens way to my favourite Stolas the Shade Lord.
There are lots of twists and turns and heartwarming and heartbreaking moment’s. I enjoyed Bell chapters a lot more in this book and wow what happens to him filled me with so much joy to then so much sadness within just a moment.
I love the pick mix of characters, all lovable in their own beautiful way all except one and when you read you will see why.
If you love high fantasy romance with plenty of action you can’t miss this guys.
I’ve already purchased book 3 and can’t wait to start it and see where this is going. Lots was resolved here but I can see we are in for a wild ride with a newly introduced character at the end.
Top marks 5/5

Death's, betrayal and a surprise in store.
Absolutely amazing, the Snarky humour in this is fantastic. I love Haven, she's sassy and a bit crass at times. But her firey determination and quirky personality is totally awesome, her companions have grown on me too. The story is so good I couldn't stop listening, the things you come to realise in this book had my jaw hit the floor. I honestly did not expect any of that, usually I hate been wrong. But part of me was relieved that I was, when you start to care for characters in a book, it can really stomp on your emotions when one or more either dies or betrays the main character. Which in this case happens, but I won't say more. This series is an extremely amazing and heartbreaking story, full of plot twists and sarcastic exchanges. The narrator does a spectacular job of capturing Haven perfectly and bringing her to life. This is a must read for anyone who loves magic, dark fantasy and delicious morally grey characters.

Curse breaker is the 2nd in the series
The second book in the series and another great book. Haven continues where she left off in the quest to break the curse. Definitely read the first book first so that you get more in depth background of the characters so you appreciate what is happening and developing with the characters. Lots of twist and turns all I will say is looking forward to what happens in the next book could be very interesting and fun. The story and audio was good I didn't want to stop listening to it.
