 Journalist Laura Ackroyd has a lot on her plate. Having recently discovered she is pregnant, she must now gather the courage to tell her partner, DCI Michael Thackery. This book is such a good read one of those books that you can't put down. I like a book that is continually telling the story and not a lot of waffle just to fill the book out. Yes the book is enthralling but also the narration is perfect. Looking forward to reading my next book by Patricia hall
