Summary
WARNING: CONTAINS ADULT CONTENT AND LANGUAGE
They’re back! The all-star cast multi-award-winning cult hit comedy returns, with more surreal goings-on in the lives and loves of the doctors and staff at East Hampton Hospital (warning: contains very little medical content).
Green Wing: Resuscitated picks up 12 years after the events of Green Wing, and it's all change at East Hampton Hospital... Guy Secretan (Stephen Mangan) has become a media personality, adding TV appearances and podcasts to his work as an anesthetist; 'Mac' MacCartney (Julian Rhind-Tutt) has returned from several near-death experiences to pick up as a surgeon, and Caroline Todd (Tamsin Greig) has been making waves in America as a medical pioneer. There have been promotions for both Harriet Schulenberg (Olivia Colman) who is now East Hampton's Head of HR, and Boyce (Oliver Chris), who has been made head of radiology. This doesn't mean that Alan Statham (Mark Heap) has left the hospital - while his killing spree with Joanna Clore (Pippa Haywood) lead to her being imprisoned, his lawyers got him off with a spell in psychiatric care, and he has returned to work under Boyce. Not everyone has changed circumstances, though - Sue White (Michelle Gomez) remains as East Hampton's staff liaison officer, and Martin Dear (Karl Theobald) is still not a doctor, despite having been training for the exams since we last saw him…
Starring: Oliver Chris as Boyce, Olivia Colman as Harriet, Pippa Haywood as Joanna, Mark Heap as Alan, Michelle Gomez as Sue White, Tamsin Greig as Caroline, Stephen Mangan as Guy, Julian Rhind-Tutt as Mac, and Karl Theobald as Martin.
Featuring: Margaret Cabourn-Smith, Lauren Douglin, Simon Kane, Lorelei Mathias, Oriane Messina, Will Sebag-Montefiore, Nimisha Odedra and Paul G. Raymond.
Green Wing: Resuscitated was created by Victoria Pile, and written by Victoria Pile, Robert Harley, James Henry, Oriane Messina & Fay Rusling.

Brilliant
Thank you for the series reboot I never knew I needed. It was a successful resuscitation and the writing fantastic. Truly great to hear the original characters, I would pay good money to hear the outtakes… in my head they’re all in the same room. On second thoughts perhaps don’t shatter the illusion if they weren’t… thank you to everyone involved.

The medicine we all need.
What an absolute treat to be alive with this coming out.
It's absolutely perfect. Greenwing is an all time favourite show of mine and although you get that nostalgia fix when you hear the music transitions and hear the characters it soon becomes is own fresh, wonderful entity and it's like watching the next episode from where it ended driving the stories and characters forward without relying on nostalgia too much.
Having finished it and being familiar with the set pieces from the tv show it feels like I have actually watched this series and not listening to it in only audio format.
This is a must listen for any Greenwing fan.

Absolutely fantastic
I loved the TV series and wasn’t sure how they could possibly translate such visual brilliance to audio, but they have managed it perfectly. I don’t think I’ve ever given anything five stars across all three categories, but this deserves every single star. It’s laugh-out-loud funny.

Utterly fantastic
Hoping for a Green Wing return for years, seeing this was a shock - though far from a disappointing one. Initially skeptical at how GW would translate to an audio-only format (as the visuals save physical comedy were always a crucial part of what made it so fantastic) but what the writers and performers have managed to achieve is nothing short of incredible. Loved every minute of this and, while TV would obviously be the preferred choice, would absolutely love to see a season 2.

Just fantastic
If you were one of us who nearly died laughing when Green Wing was on tv, you are in for a real treat. Or in for a real chance of near death laughing-experience yet again. You hear the gags, but somehow, you see them also. It's all there - the characters, the offbeat jokes, the sounds, the music, the blurring.. Familiar enough but fresh.
I do not know how this came to be but glad it did and all hail mighty Victoria Pile and all she sails with!

wonderfully nostalgic. it's like no time has passed at all. I never thought I'd hear all these characters back together again!
