Had promise but didn't deliver.
I enjoyed the first third, getting to know the characters, setting the scene... The pivotal Vincent. But then it was just repetition and constant referencing to the incident for hours.... The final third just got silly, too unrealistic, granted it didn't do the 'wrap it up in the last half hour', but it got more and more ludicrous...

characters where so unlikable
I liked the story and it was and easy read but so predictable and the main character was so unlikeable. she was a horrible selfish person who couldn't see her own faults but the book kind of made out she was the good one so this annoyed me.

Too long but an engaging monologue in places
This could have done with a good edit, I felt. I kept shouting ‘oh for goodness sake, get on with it!’ when the narrator questioned herself or repeated herself for the umpteenth time,

Different sort of story
It was hard work, I nearly gave up a number of times, glad I stuck with it but it was very drawn out.

Enjoyable listen
I really enjoyed this. The performance was excellent with a beautifully warm, rich voice. I guessed parts of the plot but didn’t expect the twists to contrast it. Worth a listen.

Very good read
Lots of twists and turns in this fabulous read. Highly recommend this book and the narrator had a lovely English accent which I prefer
