About this listen
The immortal prince must fall.
Callie:
I’m on a quest to reach my sister, to claim her from the clutches of the vampires who seized my family and end the immortal life of the prince who claimed her.
But the path this dark slayer is taking me on is rife with danger, though the kind he weaves is fast becoming my favourite temptation.
Familiars watch us from the shadows, and one wrong move could see the vampires stalking us in the dark. But they aren’t my only concern anymore, because the gods of old are waking, and now one of them has their sights set on us.
No matter what fate throws our way, I will rescue my family, even if it costs me everything.
Montana:
I fear this game will end in blood.
I’m so deeply involved in Erik Belvedere’s cunning plans, and the cost is rising by the hour. I’ll do anything I can to protect my family, but this ritual only ends one way.
A human bride for a vampire prince.
And the game is getting more deadly. Elite vampires are showing up dead in the city, and I’m sure I’ve seen the killer before…
If only I could act on logic, maybe this wouldn’t be so impossible. But I’m starting to crave the monster who holds me captive.
If I can’t break free of his allure, how will I ever save myself and those I love?
***This is a dark, fantasy romance series by the authors of Zodiac Academy with all the enemies to lovers vibes – don’t go expecting a sweet vampire with sparkling skin and a tendency to watch you sleeping. These vampires are savage and bloodthirsty, and the slayer who hunts them will stab first and ask questions later.
This war-torn fantasy world is a brutal bi*ch and only those 18+ have a chance at surviving the darkness lurking in this audio. There’s no well-meaning vampires snacking on Bambies instead of babies, and if they get their teeth into you, you’ll be damn lucky to escape with your life and panties intact. So grab hold of your slayer blade (wooden stakes have too many splinters) and get ready to defy the gods, because this is going to be one helluva ride***.

Worth the listen
The second audiobook in the Age of Vampires series delivers an improvement over its predecessor, offering a more engaging and complex narrative. The story picks up with Montana reluctantly playing spy for Erik, leading to a series of events that deepen her connection with him while raising more questions about her identity. Simultaneously, Callie and Magnar embark on a quest to free Callie's family from the bloodbank, navigating encounters that add spice to their evolving relationship. The addition of chapters from Erik and Magnar's perspectives provides insightful glimpses into their pasts, enriching the overall storytelling. The life-altering choices each sister faces create a sense of anticipation for the subsequent developments in the series.
"Immortal Prince" successfully builds upon the foundation laid in the first book. While the spice is romatic tension is still a bit lacking in my opinion(compared to their other works I have read), the overall improvement makes it clear that the series is gaining momentum. The audiobook leaves listeners invested in the characters' fates and eager to explore the next books in the series.

what a story!
Actual rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶🌶
Audio rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Story:
Wow! What a captivating story. It just gets better and better. It's like a beautiful mix between the Hunger Games, the Wicher and the Originals, and I'm totally here for it.
The pacing in this book is great and I love that we get snippets from Erik and Magnar's pasts. It's got political intrigue, interesting world building and great characters. I like how the story is written, with both girls stories being told parallel, with flashbacks here and there to Magnar and Erik's past.
There isn't a lot of spice in this book, but the amount is appropriate for the story and the characters. And what we do get is very entertaining. The banter and tension between Montana and Erik has to be my favourite part.
The second book in the series took me in a emotional roller coaster and I had no idea who to trust along the way. Can't wait to start the next book to see where this is going.
Narration:
This book is narrated by Troy Duran and Michelle Sparks.
Troy Duran: I could listen to this man read a phone book and I would enjoy every minute of it. I love the way he narrates and his voice is perfect for these characters.
Michelle Sparks: I have conflicting feeling about her narration. She has a comfortable voice and she does a great job at giving the characters their own voice and personality. I have no problem recognising if it's being told from Callie or Montana's POV. She is also great with the dialogues, male and female.
However, I don't like her storyteller style. To me it sounds like a series of statement being read, and it doesn't flow very well. Speeding up the audio does help some.

Amazing!!
OMG this book is sooo good!!!
There is so much world building happening, I love the flash back chapters and learning the history if Erik and Magnar 😍
There's so much mystery around who Callie and Morgana are and I cannot wait for the next book to learn more!!
I'm loving how the two sisters are on completely different paths and seeing the world from different angels 😊
The ending is a standard Twisted Sisters cliffhanger of course! I need more!!! I'm so excited for book 3 😍
I love the narrators, Michelle and Troy are some of my favourite narrators 😍

Loved it!
Whilst I’m not sure I’m ok after that cliffhanger ending and emotional, dramatic build up to it, I throughly enjoyed listening to this book. Book one did a fantastic job of world building but the story really comes alive in book 2. Following Callie and Montana is exciting and nerve wracking, funny and tough. Narration is perfect, each narrator primarily portrays two characters each and each are given their own distinct personalities purely through their voices. I really can’t wait to listen to book 3, I have so many questions and I need answers!

The narration is so easy to listen to grabs you into the vampires world and keeps you even after book has ended.
Troy Duran does an amazing job as always. His voice is perfect for the characters as I imagine them.
I don’t want to spoil anything for any listeners but the cliffhanger😳.
Book 3 can not arrive fast enough.
Lose yourself in this book, you won’t regret it.

🦉 Twisted sisters on fine form again 🦉
This is yet another fantastic edition from the sisters.
Story:
Guys seriously. What are you doing to us. 😩😩
I should have expected a cliff hanger but that was ridiculous. I haven’t read a book by the sisters I haven’t enjoyed and after a slow start with eternal reign I was a little anxious to see if I would love this. I needn’t have worried. It was brilliant.
I was already pretty invested in Montanas journey but Callie really grew on me through this novel. I particularly enjoyed some of her banter with Magnar - ‘you make more noise with your feet than you do with your mouth, Callie Ford and that is saying a lot’ 😂
We’ve also started to see that promised spice slipping through and if this is just the start of what’s to come I am here for it *fans self*
I can’t wait for the next instalment and I’m annoyed I have to wait as long as I do. Well worth a read ♥️
Narration;
I loved the continuing contrast between the two sisters and our two main men. The audio really does add another dimension to the story and it’s so well done. The tension in high pressure moments really comes through and the spice is done really well (I find sometimes this can be a little awkward).

An enthralling vampire narrative, packed with twists and turns, the story keeps readers on the edge of their seats, leaving them eager for more. The enticing plot and a compelling cliffhanger make it a gripping read that effortlessly beckons you to dive into the next installment. Amazing narration, just wish I didn’t have to wait for book 3!!!

A great book!
I really enjoyed this book, and the series as it’s shaping up. I love the writers and think they have a unique talent but have to say I’m getting increasingly fed up with series not being finished before other ones come out, I enjoy a flow of books that I can read and enjoy as a whole, not bit about in different story lines of series waiting for another one of which ever series to come out. That’s 3 series now I’m waiting on the next books to drop.

Fantastic next instalment in this exciting series!
Book 1 was great, so I've been waiting patiently for Book 2 - it did not disappoint! I really enjoyed this next chapter in the Age of Vampires series.
The world building continues to be strong and really helps to progress the story. I've listened to a few books lately with seemingly hours of internal dialogue but nothing much actually happening. Not in this book, thankfully! It's really well paced, with a great balance of description, dialogue and action.
The characters are developing really well, and I love how each of the twins relationships with their hot guys is progressing.
We get a bit more spice in this instalment - not loads, but it is a slow burn series and you can feel it building nicely. I love the different paths the twins are on and I'm really excited to know what happens next, because I have no idea how this will work out for them!! That ending!
I thought the narrators did a fantastic job. Troy Duran, as ever, is a delight for the ears. I've really warmed to Michelle Sparks narration - I didn't know her before this series but she does a great job with the twins and her voice and Troy's compliment each other really well.
A fantastic story and I can't wait for the next book in this series - it better be soon!!

Fantastic, dual narrators just added to the magic
A brilliant second book in the series, having already read the book I was surprised at how much I had forgotten or missed. The male narrator was a magical bonus I didn’t realise going into the story. And definitely made me indecisive about if I was team vampire or team slayer… one thing I do know …. I don’t like the gods and there trickery 😂 can’t wait for book 3
Oh and for those that where wondering still a slow burn but there’s is alittle more spice added 🥰🥵😂
