This is the best in the series so far with twists and turns blind alleys and garden paths to the end. You are held in suspense to the very end, this is the detective novel at its finest l would go so far as to say it is the finest detective novel all others should be judged against

I’ve listened to the other books in the series but a while ago. I’ve listened to so many audio books recently that I don’t really remember the earlier books in the series. That didn’t cause any problems not knowing the back story. Excellent narration by Jonathan Keeble as always.
