So Helpful I Listened To It Twice
I recently returned to work after my second maternity leave and realised I no longer knew how to dress for the office. I had my first child at the start of the first lockdown, and pretty much have been wearing variations of my mum uniform for the last four years. Now I have my eye on a promotion and want to look the part. However, my body has changed, and our office is no longer as formal as it once was. I was showing up to work and feeling frumpy or uncomfortable in clothes that was too tight. I desperately needed guidance. This book has served as a crash course, and I now feel like I’m well on my way to a wardrobe that makes me feel more confident – and therefore better at my job.

Vital, Insightful & Practical guide for Working Women
The author makes a strong case as to why it’s important and worthwhile to invest in your wardrobe as a working woman and how it’s a missed opportunity when you don’t! She then gives activities to help you clarify how you want to appear and why and then gives practical steps to go about achieving it.
The audiobook is narrated by the author and I found her friendly but firm and reassuring.
This book has 100% opened my eyes to the potential of dressing better and saving time, money and stress in the long run. It is great to have such a clear process and I’m making good progress myself by following the steps.
