About this listen

Houston... we have a problem.

Ezra Miller’s life has been turned upside down ever since his best friend hooked up with an alien named Al, and not just because he walked in on them having close encounters of the third kind. In the year since he discovered the truth about extraterrestrial life, Ezra has accidentally become the sole person the Darvrokian race trusts to act as Earth’s intergalactic representative, which is great and all, until he's assigned a Darvrokian coworker plucked out of his worst nightmares.

Titan Leon is everything Ezra hates in a man. He’s arrogant, presumptuous, and worst of all, hot enough to make Ezra forget why he hates him in the first place.

Hot enough that “absolutely not” turns into “only this one time.”

Hot enough that Ezra can overlook the fact that he’s Al’s most disliked brother.

But one time isn’t enough for Titan, and he won’t take no for an answer.

He’ll do whatever it takes to make Ezra his.

And sure, he’s an asshole… but as much as Ezra hates him, he can’t help but see that there’s something softer about him lurking just beneath the surface. Something more than Titan lets anyone else see. And whatever that something is, it has its hooks in Ezra so deeply, he can’t help but fall into bed with him over and over again.

With the same sense of humor and earnestness as Crash-Landed in Love, Not Written in the Stars is a witty contemporary alien romance that explores the ideas of identity, belonging, and choosing your own path in life, while tackling tough questions like: how much sand is needed to fill a room in your mansion? Is $100 enough to tip your new friend, Uber driver Carlos G? And how many Slim Jims are customary to put into a gift basket?

Please note that while this story takes place on modern-day Earth… life finds a way.

Piper Scott and Renee Fox went and did it again, penning another amazing novel set in their “He’s Out of this World” series and, like the first book, it is absolutely brilliant. This book picks up soon after the first book, “Crash-Landed in Love”, Jude and Al’s story ended, and is Ezra and Titan’s story. Ezra was Jude’s roommate in the first book, and Titan is Al’s brother. To get the most out of the incredible world building and character development, I recommend starting with the first book. Titan caught Ezra’s eye the moment he saw him, admiring his human form and smoking-hot body, but then he opened his mouth, coming off like a full-of-himself jerk. Though that did not stop them from having a steamy one-night stand, a one and done. When Titan gets a new job assignment on earth, he gets to work side by side with Ezra and wants to pick up where they left off. There was an undeniable chemistry between them, and they could only deny each other for so long. It was great watching these two together and seeing their relationship turn into something more, despite of the surrounding complexities, his brother and being co-workers. The banter, witty dialogue and play on words lost in translation was hilarious. I loved all the layers of this story and how it all played out, with the perfect balance of drama, only a touch of angst, charming humor, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. I also loved how much Titan grew into his own by the end, also loved the twist with Ezra’s father. This story hooked me right in, had me cracking up and tugging at my heartstrings too. Thanks for another wonderfully entertaining story and the out of this world ride!

🎧📚🎧 Michael Ferraiuolo continues to deliver an outstanding performance with character voices that are amazing and a perfect portrayal of each. I love how he takes each role and owns it, sounding believable and just as I imagine the characters to sound. As Titan, he was a natural in the role, flawlessly embodying the character’s suave arrogance, quirky lines, and distinctive personality traits. His Ezra was just as fabulous, grasping every aspect of his personality, including his fierceness, and did the same for the side and secondary characters too. His pacing and tone were just right for the story and he conveyed all the characters’ emotions into his performance, having you feel them all. Ferraiuolo is an entertaining storyteller and his captivating performance keeps you glued to the story.

I have been obsessively waiting for this book and I was not disappointed. Titan is...not the best at first. I mean don't ask him, because he will definitely say he is the best to have ever lived, but he's definitely not-it's hard to forget how he made Al feel from book 1. And Ezra has mile high walls that need to come down so honestly, I didn't immediately warm up to him either. But I loved Scott and Fox's writing from the very beginning (so many chuckles) that I was along for the ride and what a ride it was. Talk about character growth! These are almost two completely different main characters by the end of the book, but that's just because they're becoming who they are truly meant to be. It's the series that just keeps on giving

Lived up to my hype

Titan is as smug as they come and Ezra hates him and wants nothing to do with him. When Ezra gives in to Titan he expects it to be one and done but Titan is persistent and won’t give in until Ezra says yes. I am hoping the next book will be Corbin’s book after the ending.

Another hit

I guess Titan will learn some humility in this story, but his unbearable character got on my nerves so hard I couldn't get past the first quarter of the book. I will, however, look forward to the next installment. I loved book number one, and have read several good books by Piper Scott before.

Absolutely unbearable MC
