About this listen

When a team of commandos - highly skilled and armed to the teeth - tries to kidnap retired CIA station chief Linda Genneken from her home, trained marine Nathan McBride and his partner, Harvey Fontana, arrive just in time to join the fight. But their well-honed CIA instincts tell them this is only the beginning.

McBride and Fontana set out to learn who ordered the midnight raid and why. Is it connected to a rescue mission they conducted with Genneken in South America - a mission that nearly killed McBride? Is it related to the string of assassinations happening simultaneously in that area of the world? Or both?

With the help of their CIA contacts and aided by Genneken, the two men unravel a criminal plot with global implications. And as their race to find answers unspools in six supercharged hours, McBride and his team will be tested like never before.

Another good member of the Kill series

This really isn’t my usual listening fodder but there is something about Nathan and Harvey that keeps me listening. Dick Hill is perfect narrator for this

Nathan McBride, Harvey and LG amazing

This is an amazing book. So different from other McBride novel's but still show the team at there best. Dick Hill again does an amazing job doing Nathan and Harvey full justice as well as the other characters.
If this is your first McBride novel then I encourage you to go to the first book and see the team grow. Andrew thank you for yet another masterpiece.

Book 6 about Nathan McBride and Harvey Fontana

This is the sixth book in the Nathan McBride and Harvey Fontana series.

An alarm goes off in the night and Nathan and Harvey rush to the help of a client and ex colleague from the CIA.

This starts a series of events that are linked to the imminent election of a Venezuelan gangster to the post of President.

Dragged out

What disappointed you about Right to Kill?

The story was dragged out, have listened to all of the others which were fine but this one consisted of very little story using a lot of words

Would you ever listen to anything by Andrew Peterson again?

The other books in this series were fine and would try the next one and hope that it is as good as the earlier books

What three words best describe Dick Hill’s voice?

Very good narrator

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Right to Kill?

Pretty much the middle 50% of the book
