Summary

a great book
it has its moments of laughter in between the serious detective work and you feel like you know the people and every character is believable cant wait for next book

characters saved the book
unfortunately the second time in this series where the story is a "Retelling" or another authors work. shame as I like the characters.

DCI Ryan mysteries
I really have enjoyed all of the DCI Ryan novels by L J Ross. The narrator, Jonathan Keeble is excellent and I’m so pleased that he has been a constant in reading these novels to me.
Book 15 has a lovely conclusion to the series and whilst I am unsure if plans are afoot for more, I think I will call it a day here. Loose ends are tied up and *spoiler alert* we have a satisfactory ending to both the main couples in the series, Phillips and Mac are happy with Sam and Ryan and Anna will soon be 3.
Great series and thanks to both the author and the narrator.
