Perfect ending to a perfect series . Ricky and Des get their HEA but it wasn’t easy getting there as so many people wanted to harm them . Fab seeing all the gang together again and working out who Pandora was put the icing on the cake .

So good
I enjoyed book it's just as good as the rest in this series good story and characters. I love all the fantasy series from this author but her contemporary books have been amazing I hope there will be more in the future, the narrators did a great job

Beauty & the Beast
This story just flew by, I loved Des & Ricky’s dynamic, it was hot. And once Des quit fighting their openness was amazing I love that they talked things through.

Fantastic Conclusion
I love the world of Cypress Pointe!! It was so much fun seeing 'our bad guy' find love and his happily ever after. Ricky and Dez!!! Like all other CP books, this wasn't all hearts and rainbows it was filled with blood, guts, and tears! It had so many of my favorite tropes! Enemies to lovers, surprise pregnancies, and mafia/crime in general! Get ready for a fun and dangerous adventure! And I'm so happy with the epilogue!! And a little plea for the authors PLEASE give us the Bayou Boys, I want to see all the delicious trouble those boys get into! muahahaha!!!

My Thoughts on Sexy Beast
This is definitely one of my favorite books of the series. It’s a shame that it seems like it’s the last one too. But then again, with the way things were left, there’s the possibility for more. And there’s certainly more characters that could get their own story. But this story was excellent. I liked both Ricky and Dez as main characters. I liked them individually and together. I appreciated that they both had their own damage and issues coming into things, and the way things came to be between them wasn’t even planned or intended and yet worked so well.
I enjoyed the whole flow and progression of the story. This being a dark romance, I definitely didn’t have any issues with the way that Ricky chose to handle certain things. It helps that I also wasn’t at all surprised. And I honestly really liked that while Dez made choices in regards to how she handled things in Ricky‘s professional side of life, she stayed strong and handled herself fantastically on the personal side.
There were so many secrets exposed in the story, and I feel like things were wrapped up really well as far as any outliers from previous stories. Even if this book was a standalone as have the last couple of books before been, there were some minor plot points that carried throughout the story, such as who is Pandora, and, what is going to happen with Hunter and things like that. I’m glad that those type of things got resolved in the story to give it a real series ender kind of feel. But I certainly won’t be at all upset if they find a way to continue. Just like I wasn’t upset about the narration for the story. Both the narrator for Ricky and Dez were newer voices for me, but I still liked both of them. The voice for Pandora is a favorite of mine and continued to give a spot on performance for this story as well.

Enemies To Lovers Mafia Pregnancy Romance
Sexy Beast by Rachel Jonas and Nikki Thorne is an enemies to lovers mafia pregnancy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lacie Glennox and Michael Corbin. This is the sixth book in the Kings of Cypress Pointe series and can be read as a standalone.
I love Rachel and Nikki's books! I was so happy when they announced that we would be getting Ricky's story and they did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the relationship between Ricky and Dez. I loved that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
Lacie and Michael did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like enemies to lovers romances, mafia/organized crime romances, or surprise pregnancy romances.

The New King in Town Rules! Great Story & Listen🎧
It is great to be back in Cypress Pointe, and Rachel Jonas and Nikki Thorne gives not only a sizzling hot Ricky Ruiz but solves the mystery of who Pandora is, and who was behind Ricky’s father’s death, as well as Dez’s father, the police officer who was trying to clean up Cypress Pointe and the department. Ricky had fond memories of her father, he always good to him and tried to help him out. Dez had her reasons for coming into Ricky’s life, but she was not expecting them to hit it off like they did or to spend a memorable night together or the unexpected outcome of that night, one that Ricky finds out about thanks to Pandora. Ricky does what he does best, takes charge and takes what he wants, and he wants her in his custody, and it is for her own good. Ricky is ruthless and does what he has to do, but he is also trying to get the empire he inherited on the up and up, not a simple task since some family members still want to do business the old way. It takes Dez a while to settle in to her circumstances and come to grips who Ricky really is and what he is all about and it is not all bad, not bad at all. There is never a dull moment in this cleverly plotted story, there is plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Rachel Jonas and Nikki Thorne, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I hope you are not entirely finished with this amazing world you created, I think Pandora deserves her own book and HEA too.
🎧📚🎧 And for the terrific narration, Lacie Glennox and Michael Corbin did an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, giving each their own voice, and were believable in every role they played. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen.

I got this audiobook via a promo code and this is my voluntary review.
Feels like a while ago since I was visiting Cypress Pointe with the fantastic Standalone, Pretty Boy D, or following Pandora's updates on The Golden Boys but it was another great trip there with Book 6 of the Kings of Cypress Pointe by Rachel Jonas and Nikki Thorne.
Bonus for this book, The Golden triplets, their girlfriends make cameos and Pandora is still lurking around every corner reporting everyone’s business, including some old enemies who finally get the end they really deserved.
Trigger warning, there's some violence and anyone who has pregnancy-loss related trauma may want to proceed with caution.
This book focuses on daughter of recently fallen cop Dez dealing with the consequences of her Nancy Drew Honeytrap on Ricky Ruiz, the head guy of the family her father always warned her about. No longer the young thug who ran the streets of Southside, Ricky lives up to all expectations of being as dangerous as Dez heard in the rumors he was, but he surprises her by being just a protective as he is formidable. He’s ruthless, unapologetic and above all else, devoted to securing the safety of his family: which includes the secret child she conceived after their one-night stand. Determined to keep her safe after Pandora outs their predicament, he insists she live with him under constant guard.
Performance by Sarah Puckett as our Kristen Bell/Pandora Gossip Girling up a storm was fantastic.
Lacie Glennox and Michael Corbin did an amazing job as Broken Beauty and Sexy Beast.
Highly recommend this book, especially for anyone who ever wanted to know who Pandora was!

Fantastic
I was a little unsure of the story line when I first started it. I was thinking it was just the same old post high school drama. However, this book was so much more. With the post high school drama also came mafia links, sexy beasts And surprises. With all this adding up to one hell of a book. A fantastic performance from all the narrators.
