I amazed at how much there is to learn about taking care of a little kitten. This guide has been great—it covers everything from sleep habits and nutrition to protecting my furniture from those tiny claws. The detailed tips on understanding kitten behavior have made bonding so much easier, I like the part on understanding their "language" meows. I was surprised to learn why wet and raw foods are often better for our little friends than processed alternatives. So Much to Learn about Kitten Care
I had no idea there was so much to learn about kitten care! Everything from what to feed kittens to understanding their "language" is covered in detail by the author. I learned a lot about kittens' "body language" from this book. I think the author had a lot of foresight, including preparation for the kinds of emergencies that commonly occur with cats.
I always wondered why wet food is preferable for kittens, and now I've learned the answer. I was surprised to learn why raw food is preferable to processed or cooked food. This book also has suggestions and strategies for training your kittens regarding their scratching, biting, and counter-surfing behaviors, sure to help every kitten owner!
This is a well-written, well-narrated audiobook with great illustrations! I highly recommend it to anyone considering getting a kitten for the first time!

They Are Going To Grow
This book opened my eyes to everything I should expect when my family decides to adopt a kitten. I listened to the excellent book and made notes to share with my daughters and husband. There were great tips on feeding, sleeping, vaccinations, buying toys, and how to cat-proof the house. All of these things are doable, but I think we have to decide as a family as to whether the cat will be an indoor or outdoor cat. Definitely worth listening to so there aren't any surprises when the little ball of fur comes home.
