I loved this take on a second chance romance, the no hesitation wooing was portrayed very well as normally that type of win back just ends up being some intense love bombing whereas in this Drew really focused on the memories behind the gifts and dates. He focused solely on his love and devotion for Ryan to win him back.

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that after Drew got his big promotion he’s been wanting for years we don’t really hear much else about his work, he just suddenly doesn’t have to be there much and doesn’t seem to care about the job we don’t find out much about his promotion or what their day to day life is like now that Drew’s focusing on creating a better work life balance.

Overall I really enjoyed this audiobook and would recommend to people that like a cute lighthearted love story.

I really enjoyed this story and the way it started with the break-up, showed us how the characters got to that place and then the way both had to decide if they were really committed to giving their relationship a second chance. The author did a great job of showing that both had their faults and neither was totally innocent when it came to responsibility for what happened. Ryan needed to be more open and honest about what he needed and Drew needed to have some work/life balance and time for Ryan. I also enjoyed the mix of supporting characters, most of whom were trying to help these two get back together but one nicely sneaky snake in the grass working against them. Sion Hardd did a fantastic job with all the characters.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and the first audiobook I’ve listened to by this voice actor. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the audio performance. Second chance stories are one of my favorite romance tropes and this was a good one. I also enjoyed the preview of the next book.

This short story was the perfect mix of cute and angsty. The flashbacks are well written and help showcase the bond between Ryan and Drew that the reader needs to root for them.

This second chance novella was a nice read/listen. While I thought the narrator did a good job, I personally didn't overly enjoy his voice.
Both MCs needed to communicate more before their relationship came to the point of falling apart, especially Ryan who expected Drew to know how upset he was with the way things were. I liked how determined Drew was to win Ryan back and how committed he was to making changes to ensure their relationship worked better for them both in the future. Once things were working they made a great couple.

Story: For a couple at crossroads, it was an interesting concept as far as the story goes, but I can't help wanting a bit more drama in it (guess that's my angst lover speaking). The story is cute and full of feels, and I did enjoy it, but I wish we had more time with the characters.
Narration: There's quite a large cast of characters and the narrator did a good job making them discernible. Good performance overall.

Both the author and narrator are new to me.
After twin years Ryan has had enough of Drew not being there because he wa always at work the decision is made he has to end it for his own sanity.
Drew has worked long and hard to get where he is and it should have been a happy day but he’s lost the love of his life.
A second chance romance , Drew will do anything to get Ryan back where he belongs with him.
