Summary

The newly discovered novel from multi-million-selling author Joy Ellis. Never-before published!

THREE NICE PEOPLE. THREE TERRIBLE CRIMES. WHAT MADE THEM DO THESE AWFUL THINGS?

It’s the night shift worker who finds them. Huddled in a hospital store cupboard is elderly Edith Higgins. Knifed to death. Sitting behind her is Staff Nurse Lily Frampton, a scalpel clasped in her blood-soaked hand.

No one can understand why this kind-hearted, dedicated nurse would brutally murder a frail patient she’s spent months caring for.

That same day, mild-mannered schoolteacher Rod Black is found surrounded by the battered bodies of his pupils. Why would a well-respected teacher beat five schoolboys to death?

Then a third shocking — and equally inexplicable — incident takes place in a London homeless shelter.

Grabs attention

Enjoyed both books in the series.I really think the author should revisit the genre. With all her experience she could really build on these two books to give her readers a new and matured central character to enjoy.

Too long

Quite a convoluting story. Not sure if it could have been maintained as a series.

JOY ELLIS

AS A REAL FAN OF JACKMAN AND EVANS I FREELY ADMIT FINDING YOUR OTHER DETECTIVE NOVELS HARD TO GET INTO NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH THE STORIES OR YOUR 1ST CLASS WRITING BUT WHEN RICHARD ARMITAGE IS NARRATOR I CAN ONLY THINK OF JACKMAN AND EVANS.

THESE 2 STORIES WERE AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT I LOVED EVERY BIT OF THEM I DO LIKE THE SUPERNATURAL GENRE AFTER THRILLER MURDER DETECTIVE AS YOUR 1ST NOVELS THEY WERE SO GOOD I LOVE AURAS AND MEDITATION ETC PLEASE IF YOU READ THIS REVIEW

Loved both books in this series

A different spin on detective genre, It was a lovely change.
I know they were your first stories that were hidden away, but I would love to read more of these. I hope you find time to write more.

Really enjoyed this

I’ve listened to Joy Ellis books before and really liked them. These 2 found books are a bit different, but I really enjoyed them.
Auras, clairvoyance etc interest me, so this book was right up my street.
