Shorter book concentrating purely on Des. From his mother's scale this rise to power, prophecies and finding and keeping his mate. We find out more information from his pov that we didn't get to see on book 1.
It's decided in 3 parts and part 3 plus the end of 2 have many scenes we saw from Callie's pov.
Des is amazingly sweet and vicious, it was perfection.
The narration was outstanding and I wish the other books were a duet and we had Nathaniel's voice in them too.

I really loved the storyline of the previous books too and its nice to see/hear Des' backstory and the male narration is so stunnig, could be used in all the books. Love the buildup of all books, the storyline is very engaging, love the characters as well.

Nathaniel Priestly has done a stellar job here. All the accents, the intensity, truly bringing to life the bargainer’s character. And most interestingly, I also appreciate Laura Thalassa’s writing more through his narration. Chelsea Stevens is also great as she has been so far. A perfect audiobook.

The story skips through Des’s life. The early years are more interesting, the later years more emotional. It’s fun as an extra in the series.
The narrator is perfect!

Gosh, I think i fell in love with this narrators voice.. he was so good with every emotion that I had to leave a review..! The story with only his POV is eyeopening and crucial to the books. At first I was a bit apprehensive, but this is a must read! I really appreciate their love more now.. 😭😍
