Excellent

His best one yet. Dark, twisted, honourable. Vividly brings this era alive. Wish there were more.

Not as good as the others

While still good, I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others. The story wasn't as engaging. I'd still recommend it, it wasn't bad by any means, just not as good.
The narrator does an excellent job. The only thing to fault is that the Irish accent sometimes sounds more like a parody.

Loved it

I've loved all of S. G Maclean 's books that I've read so far and this was so good. I'd come to feel so much affection for the characters and even Damien Seeker started to make me chuckle. Very sad at where this book leaves us and look forward to the new one. (although it doesn't seem to promise any fun for Seeker). A brilliantly series and love the narrator of the later books.

Great finale

As with the previous Seeker books, I really enjoyed the book. The plot was fantastic. The narration was wonderful. I will miss Damien Seeker and Lady Ann.

Seeker

I have enjoyed all the books and am sad to think this is the last we will having about Damian Seeker we could all do with him in our lives.
The end could have been better (epilogue) felt it was a little rushed for the end of five books but that is just me .Over all the series has been great x
Jonathan Keeble was as usual a one man theatre company with all the voices he manages ,great performance as always

Excellent and gripping

I found this as good as his other books. It's gripping, historically sound and keeps the reader interested throughout. I recommend it!

A brisk historical jaunt

This has the potential to be darker than it turned out to be. The character of Seeker, a well meaning undercover agent in an amoral world. Interesting. Worth a listen.
