This book made me cry and be overwhelmed by happiness. One of the best decisions a made was listening to this book. Fantastic! I hope that there will be more audiobooks with this author. Because if this book is any indication then just wow.

it's one of my favorite mafia romance. dark and intense. I would recommend Crow: Boston Underworld for something similar - less dark but still intense.

I 5 so mesmerized with all 3 books. True love story and brought tears in my eyes. Please don't skip this book and take a few hours of your day and listen or read al 3 books.

I'm not happy with the whole series at all. It's repetitive, lacking plot and different scenes. When the lead characters finally left the house for a date, I cheered!! If you're going to attempt a Mafia romance at least come up with a plot and scenes that support the plot. I felt like this series, edited correctly could have been one stand alone book. I used three credits.
I must say though Tia (the narrator) did an amazing job.
I won't be reading more from this series. The lead male is not what I hoped for. A brooding, dominant mob boss who is violent, sexy and protective. Alessio is none of these.
Ayla is a woman abused all her life, physically, emotionally, sexually. The amount of trauma she has suffered I would guess she would need a life time of therapy. The graphic scenes portrayed suggest physical injury, yet no hospital was needed. I'm so baffled. I wanted more grit, I got fluff! Sorry.
