Acting superb

I loved the fiction as reality feel to this. Wasn’t too long and drawn out. Ending was good.

Performances from actors

I just finished this in one go driving from Birmingham to Brighton and I was gripped all the way! So well acted - more like a play or a true crime podcast than an audio book. Very dark and sinister

Gripping

Amazing acting and a gripping story. If you like crime novels you will enjoy this one.

A great story and delivery

Felt a bit let down by the length of the production. ( I know it was in the blurb) . More a radio play type performance than the audiobooks I'm used to. Enjoyable enough.

Short story right enough

It was unrealistic in that single officers don’t work on murders in the way its alluded. This worm panders to the false belief of the public about the way serious crime is investigated.

Unrealistic story line in respect of policing

What a brilliant story told stunningly by a cast of superb voices. Elexi Walker is utterly convincing as ‘Grace’ - imbuing the character with the fragility and equal strength of a survivor. The standout in the wonderful cast is the genius of Sheridan Smith who brings a tour de force of emotions, conviction and realness that just takes this story over the edge. Brilliant and must listen.

Sheridan Smith is Exceptional

Totally brilliant

The ending was a bit sudden and felt slightly unfinished, as if there was a missing episode to the drama. Nevertheless, excellent narration by the cast and captivating twists in the story.

Slightly abrupt end but good narration
