I don’t usually enjoy audio books, but I saw an advert for this one, and being a fan of Sheridan Smith I took a listen. It was the ultimate book you can’t put down until the end. It was extremely well cast and very enjoyable.

Documentary style sounded not promising but...Brilliant dramatisation/production, superb acting, deft use of sfx. Audible seem to do this so very well.

Good l fast paced story running over only 3h. Often a good crime story is followed by a disappointing denounement but this had a wonderful sting in the tail. Perfectly enjoyable drama.

I really enjoyed this Novela. It kept me engaged the entire time,the characters were believable. The story was very interesting and the performance by the actors was outstanding and really brought it to life. The plot was excellent, well thought out.

Very good story telling, love the actors voices. There were times when I thought the book had turned off because of the long pauses, which was a little annoying. Great twist at the end, I didn’t see coming.

Really enjoyed this . I don’t listen to true come stuff but this adaptation used that style of story telling very effectively. The characters and story for the most part were fully believable . Smith is excellent and the ambiguity of her character and relationship with her fellow officer adds another dimension to the hunt for the serial killer narrative. I would recommend this.
