Summary
The secret to your health, fitness and overall wellbeing lies in the most basic and overlooked aspect of your workout: how you breathe. Developing body strength while ignoring breathing strength is counterproductive.
In The Oxygen Advantage, Patrick McKeown combines his successful breathing exercises with techniques designed to simulate high-altitude training in a highly successful programme that will significantly improve anyone's health but will also empower athletes to improve their sports performance. These scientifically validated exercises have the potential to drastically improve your overall fitness, whether you are a habitual couch potato or an Ironman triathlon champion.
These easy-to-use techniques can help to reduce your breathlessness, improve your sleep as well as reduce anxiety and stress. Drawing on his own experiences as an ex-asthmatic and the work he has done to help athletes and asthma sufferers alike to achieve greater fitness, Patrick shows you the key to a healthier, fitter you.

The most important book you will ever read
If health is important to you - as it should be to any living being - then so will this book be, whether you're an inactive couch potato or an elite athlete, whether you're at an age where you're able to read or you're too old to want to bother anymore.
I don't agree with some of the reviews that the book is repetitive, there are obviously going to be repeated phrases and words in any book but it's crucial to read the whole lot throughout, as each topic is as relevant and important and as new as the next.

Absolutely Eye opening
wow this book described my life.
small sickly child. six teeth out.
breathless during sport. Astmah sport required me to take medication. i had talent never fully realised. poor education standard. temper tantrums, continualy blocked or runny nose. moutb breather heavy snorer.
this book really opened. i listened with an open mind and started to practice. for me it is working.
i cannot recommend this book highly enough. big pharmaceutical companies will hate the simplicity as the advice is only the cost of the book. everything else is free.
10 out of 10 from me.
