All about that bond

What attarcted me to listening to this audiobook, was that it starts with "understanding". I'm not here to tame my ADHD child. Sure, school results are important, but, to me, the bond with my child is much more important than for them to 'be good'. Advice on how to advocate for them at school is particularly helpful.

I found this book packed with clear, practical advice that feels doable, even on the toughest days. I loved how it didn’t just focus on the challenges and put forth a lot about celebrating your child’s strengths and building a stronger bond with them.If you’re feeling overwhelmed or just want to better understand your child, this book is a comforting and empowering resource. Highly recommend!

A Practical Guide for ADHD Parenting

This book gave me so many practical ideas that I can actually use with my family. One piece of advice that really stuck with me was how consequences should always be tied to the situation—and to never use food or affection as punishment or reward. It’s already helping us create a more positive environment at home. The tips felt relatable and easy to apply, making me feel more confident as a parent. Highly recommend to anyone navigating ADHD parenting challenges!
