Every little girl dreams of the fairy tale. The one where the white knight rushes in to save her from the clutches of evil. They fall in love, have babies, and live happily ever after.

By that definition, my life should have been a fairy tale, too.

Wow! This was unputdownable. Such a roller-coaster of emotions, action and so many small and big twist and turns along the way. I swallowed this story in no time. It literally grabbed me from page 1 or should I say minute 1 since I listened to the audio version. And that was such a great book in terms of narration. Andi Arndt and Christian Fox did an exceptional job transferring the emotions of this book. And there were plenty. Such a poignant story with so many unexpected surprises inside that I absolutely didn’t see coming.

The plot captivated me, the characters were intriguing and I quickly fell in love with them all.

Holy mother of all things alpha – Caven Hunt. That man was a top BBF material. So confident, cocky and a bit gloomy, but with such a huge loving heart that completely melted mine. I was hesitant about my feelings towards Hadley at first, but she quickly redeemed herself and I really felt for her. I was in awe with the brave decisions she took to protect the ones she loved and her patience given the whole situation.

This story was enemies-to-lovers, a bit of a second chance romance and a very slow-burning one at that. But there were plenty of steamy scenes and the sexual tension was there. They were both one explosive couple with so much passion and love leading their actions.

There were some more relaxed, calmer parts at one point and the story got a bit sappy and cheesy, but I loved the overall fast-pacing, and holy wow – that ending. I so didn’t see this coming. Thank God, I waited till both books were released cause that was one hell of a cliffy there. So excited and impatient to start the next one.

So all in all, great performance in terms of audio and a very intriguing, complicated, complex plot that will leave you wanting more of this couple.

Besides, there were so many good quotes that made me stop for a while and just think:
“Because life isn’t lived as a whole. You aren’t given a hundred years all at once. Time is doled out one very manageable second at a time. Stop looking at the big picture and find happiness in the seconds.”

That one just about sums the whole story up and wraps it with a bow. A powerful message to live by. And I so can’t wait to continue this journey with WRITTEN WITH YOU.
