It is with some trepiditation that Meredith Mitchell returns to the Cotswolds: the Bamford district holds memories that, to put it generously, are bittersweet, and Christmas is a difficult time to find oneself a stranger in a new area. Oh this is wonderful. Judith Boyd’s narration is 100% perfection. Just the most beautiful voice. Ann Granger is a fabulous storyteller. Rich descriptions without becoming heavy. The crimes are intricate, brilliantly set and played out. I’m so delighted this book has just been released in audio version. Thank you!
