About this listen
The world of Erafore is one full of magic and mystery. Heroes battle dragons, mages confront demons, and the gods watch over it all. Yet among these incredible beings, a single creature is born with the power to rewrite the destiny of the land. Taken in as a pet by the princess of the Kingdom of Varia, a mere Ooze will rise to stand in the tide of fate and defend the ones he loves from an encroaching void. But can a monster ever truly become a man?

It is rather slow and it is almost too sweet and endearing at times.
I guess that is my main problem with this book, a lack of antagonistic elements. It sweetly meanders trough its story, but the characters face little tough choices or direct opposition.
A very sweet, young adult, start of an adventure

It's the perfect story to listen to while working or doing something. More slice of life with mild action. Some areas do strike me as for a teen audience, but as someone in my 20s, I still enjoyed it a lot. Definitely one of my favorites and would read again.
I love the story with the non human perspective. these types of books are always a great read. I enjoy the characters progression.
Great narration and enjoyable story
