About this listen
Cultivate deep connections wherever you go. Break down conflict, misunderstanding, and loneliness.
Healthy relationships involve our feelings being heard, understood, and validated. Unfortunately, this is the exception rather than the rule. Are you doing it wrong and alienating people versus comforting them? Find out how to walk this fine line.
Uncover the biggest obstacle to the intimate, healthy relationships that we desire and deserve.
How to Listen, Hear, and Validate is all about our top communication struggle - our tendency to react instead of respond, and forget that our goal is to build bridges rather than walls. You’ll learn what you’ve been doing wrong, and why your efforts at getting closer to people - in deep or light manners - have failed. You’ll learn actionable techniques and frameworks to have the most productive conversations of your life - ones that will walk away with people praising how empathetic you are.
Most importantly, you will gain profound insights on how to reprogram yourself into a natural communicator.
No more unresolved issues, struggles to get close, or failures from ineffective communication.

Well Worth The Credit
I listened to this book after my husband expressed that he felt like I didn’t validate or reflect back to him after having important conversations. This can sometimes be hard for me as I have ADHD and autism, so I wanted to find something that would help me understand this more and give me practical advice.
This book was very useful to me and the many examples and explanations helped me realise just how little I do validate my husband, and also, interestingly, it helped me identify my own feelings as invalidation during conversations that in the past has lead me to become defensive and feel unheard. Knowing that it is invalidation that I’m feeling gives me the opportunity to ask my husband if he understands where I’m coming from, rather than angrily explaining my point again in the hopes that he gets it. He is now wanting to listen himself to better help him understand as well.
For anyone on the fence, I’d say its definitely worth it. It’s not that long which might make people reconsider putting a credit on it, but honestly it is one of the most useful books I’ve listen to about communication and validating others.
