My Friend the Billionaire by Maggie Cole is a friends-to-lovers billionaire romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott. This is the third book in the It's Complicated series and can be read as a stand-alone.

I absolutely love Maggie's books! She does an amazing job pulling me into the story. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Chase and Vivian. It was messy but I couldn't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series Forbidden Billionaire so I can get Jamison and Quinn's story.

Wen and Kai did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like billionaire romances, friends-to-lovers romances, contemporary romances or romantic suspense.

Maggie Cole continues her It's Complicated series with a couple that is fun to get to know and easy to root for! This friends to lovers romance is sweet and spicy and checks all the right boxes! Max was hurt. Ready to get engaged, he found out his girlfriend was cheating on him in the worst of ways. Never falling into that trap again, he is having no strings attached flings, being up front and honest with what he wants. Vivian has feelings for this man, but refuses to be just another day of the week. The thought he can't get her, is driving him mad though. Or is it that he has real feelings for her? The two are good friends, and their banter is fun and definite foreplay. But will it ever come to fruition? Will Max ever be able to get over his hurt and realize what he could have? Vivian is quite the woman. Self made, she is determined to make a difference in the world. I love that she stands up for what she believes in and will not be taken advantage of. Max is sweet, and his gestures are real and romantic. Cole continues to show me her amazing versatility with these billionaire romances and I am loving it! Keep them coming!

Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are a favorite team of mine, and I was thrilled to see they were narrating this one. Ross plays the alpha billionaire perfectly, and he can show his fragile heart with emotion and love. Kennicott as Vivian gives us the strength of her resolve, and I love that I could feel the conflict since her love for Max is so strong. It's the perfect casting for this story and a joy to listen.
