From the battlefields of Phall and Isstvan to the haunted shadows of Terra itself - the greatest war in the history of mankind rages on.

A good compendium of varying stories of all the legions. 15 word minimum blah blah.

A good mix

Some very well written stories and superbly performed narration. Really enjoying all of the ever expanding lore of the Heresy

Quality

Definitely worth listening to. Some good stories but bad narration at times. John Banks mixes up his voices occasionally.

Some Good Stories

Probably the best short story collection in the Horus Heresy as I said in the title. If you're just following the main books take time to listen to this as well.

Probably the best short story collection in the Ho

really good little shorts if you're listening to the entire series some of the novelas are available separately

Solid collection

The Crimsom Fist is the only depiction of the Battle of Phall, and The Prince of Crows is the closest you'll get to a depiction of the Thramas Crusade. And they are both good, good enough alone to give this a listen. And then you get a few short stories on top of that.

Some essential HH reading

For myself the story of the silversmith stood out as a fun little short, its ending was .... well honestly a bit rubbish. Konrad Kurze's/Sevatars story was quite probably the most stand out of them all and the first two stories I have quite forgotten. One of them had Dorn in it... its worthwhile if you are, like myself, a competionist. However, you could also quite happily miss out on it too and not worry at all. 4/5 might listen again one day. if only for Konrads story.

well. it's definitely a compilation....
